When I think about my life’s story, I was teased about a lot of things, including having at least one talking shoe, the fake Converse that you wore because your family could not afford the real Converse with the logo on the ankle and the back of the heel. Well, when you spend a lot of time outdoors playing everything from frozen tag to touch football, the bottom of your sole gets separated from the top of your shoe. But in my story, I kept playing and I have gone from wearing shoes that I had to Duct tape together to having two closets filled with shoes. My story isn’t about shoes.
